People have been warned by state task teams and forces regarding a rapid increase in school bullying in New Jersey.

Data has been reviewed by the anti-bullying task force from 2016 to 2022. According to authorities, they have investigated several cases including intimidation, bullying, and harassment.

They have found that incidents of bias have increased four times in that period. According to them, a lot of incidents were likely unreported, especially during the tenure and duration of the pandemic.

As per the statement of the task force, the incidents have increased drastically after students returned from school closures. Approximately 20,000 reported and almost 7600 have been confirmed.
